Lat: 33?57'22.97"N
Long: 118?13'33.50"W

The building just to the south of those co-ordinates.

I can see a Chrysler looking silhouette which looks to be facing SSE.

Victorysirens.com reports it as 'Engine missing'.

Wouldnt be that hard to adapt an engine in (any V8, sb chevy, mopar, or ford will work) As long as the drivetrain is still in there.(clutch) Even if the clutch is not there, I can see the Jamie and Adam fabricating one. :D

The Dominguez siren is apparently located in an industrial area, 'amongst tanks'.

Big ones, little ones, fat ones, thin ones!

I've been looking for quite a while and have not been able to spot it. It's painted green (from VictorySirens.com) and mounted on a tower.

Jerry, you might want to link Linda to this thread.

I can't remember if the early Hemi uses the same bolt pattern as the small block or big block Mopars, I think it is the small block bolt pattern. In that case, a 318 would be fine for powering the siren and are extremely plentiful. The earlier ones were rated at 230 horspower (gross). The ratings fell as the emissions controls were added but this horsepower is easily recoverable.

Plus I would love to see it kept all Mopar!

Ditto on that, Later smog ones would be fine also, my truck (318) had 170 stock, 40 more horsepower than the 331 put out! Get some demo-car headers (upright) and your set

I'm chasing up a lead over the Woodminster Amphitheatre Chrysler. Sent an email to see if it still exists.

Fingers crossed.
