Ahh....a fine symphony of Thunderbolts. Nothing beats a whole army of them...no annoying 2001's or whelens to distract the listener. :)

I think it was just your hearing your probably hearing the "sound in motion effect from diffrant sirens mixing together

You guys that live out near the thunderbolt systems in the Midwest really should try and get some system recordings this spring. It wont be much longer until its a thing of the past.

I have a recording of Omaha's old Thunderbolt system somewhere, but the sirens are spaced too far apart to have the same effect as the Honolulu video. Most of them were single-toned, and the new T-128 system is much more effective.
