Tornado awarness!

Fri Apr 13, 2007 2:17 am

I got my siren (The VG experiment) out and it sang a duet with the 2001 across the street!
This really gives you an idea of how low-pitched our 2001 is. It's doing the same RPM as my siren, and it's a six port running at 3400RPM.
Can you believe there was snow on the ground this morning? Now it's green, and the tornado sirens are starting to go off! Only in Minnesota! :P
Clicky!

Here's the siren!

Wisconsin also had it.

For a moment when I look at the NOAA site & saw red dots all over the map there I thought they got creamed by a super outbreak!

The siren sounds like it has a 6/12 chopper ratio. An octave by the way. :D

Nope, My siren is a 6-port, and the 2001 across the way is a 12-port 2001, that just happens to be running at the same speed.
