I’ve been in contact with the Mount Baldy VFD and the siren is tested whenever they have training sessions (Twice a month) It will be going off This Thursday (The 17th) at 1900 Hours. I will be there to film it! I believe it’s actually Low tone, Lots of ports but runs in a lower RPM according to a volunteer

I’ll be reaching out confirming the test today at 7:00 PM. All I want to know is what the original housing looks like. I’ve always thought it was a Denver due to a few Photos I took with my drone a few months back which unfortunately got deleted by accident but now we know for sure!

She doesn't work, the fire dept wants to refurbish it and make it go off

UPDATE: The Denver siren just broke last year according to staff. The model A next to it does work and will be tested. I’ll update this if I gather anymore information on the restoration of the Denver siren.

So I was right when I've noticed in streetview that the siren was spinning over the years! That's awesome, but now, we need to know how it broke, she spins good (according to a video on facebook) so it's most likely a wiring problem or a problem with the motor...

I'm mostly on the mystery sirens forum, less on the actual Main Outdoor Warning Sirens Board, I'm sorry I didn't see the post.
