Toledo, OH Tornado Warning Sirens 4-9-15

Fri Apr 10, 2015 2:51 am

Sirens went off across all of Lucas County for a tornado warned storm riding the Wood/Lucas Border. I had been watching this storm come in from the west during a phone call and no soon than I hung up did the warning come through. I grabbed my camera and I was out the door. Sirens heard are a 2001-SRN, 2 STH-10s, a S-10 Screamer, some faint Modulators and a faint P-15. Enjoy!

I just knew that that storm was going to spark a warning. Nice video, Calvin.

Outstanding ambience! I can't hear any Mods though. Do they sound a different signal?

Nope. They run alert, but they're about 4 miles away. I was able to hear them in person, and the easiest point in the video to hear them is during their voice announcement after the sirens wind down. Its unclear and garbled from the 4 mile distance but they're saying "ATTENTION. TORNADO WARNING. SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.
