Williams Bay originally had a Red Arrow but that was years ago and it is probably gone now. I don't know much about Whelen although it seems strange that this one does a "Whoop" before the main Alert signal.

The "whoop" happens when they send the activation out twice to make sure all the sirens activate.

There is a lot of places doing it, I've seen a few video's go as far as a triple activation. The Whelen's around here in Oklahoma City do a double activation.
I own: One complete SiraTone, another SiraTone control module, a 1600W MC, 2 old ATI controllers, 2 round ATI horns with drivers, a ATI-DSA 4 thing, a Federal Signal FC, AR timer and Siratrol, and a small CD&F.

St. Louis County, MO does a quadruple activation for tornado warnings. It's terribly eerie.

I know that feeling.
The first two activations are usually the ones that get me the most, but the last two are a good sign that this is gonna be a fun evening.
