Does a Thunderbolt RCM have to have 240 fed through it or can it be 120???

Does a Thunderbolt RCM have to have 240 fed through it or can it be 120??? Ive been trying to use my RCM on 120, but nothing is happening. Not even a buzz. Does it have to have 240v fed through for the contacters and starters to activate??? Thanks.

As far as I know, RCMs CAN be ran on 120, but don't take this as a good answer since I don't know alot about RCMs,
I do know that (some) early RCM panel's transformers were 440v (IIRC) however I could be very wrong... :?

Yes, it needs to be connected to 240V in order for the contactor's coil to engage.

MOstormchaser is right. All coils are 240 volt along with the agastat coil. They should be 240/480 coils actually. You would have to change all the coils to 120v/240 coils to run them on 120. You can look at your coils to see if they are 120/240volt. Maybe they are but that would just be the contactors though. The agastat will only be 240.
