I’ve seen 3T22s, and they are pretty nice to take care of. Although I don’t have one, I have seen many enthusiasts restore sirens like this. One example is a 2T22B in Rhine, GA. The 2T22B was restored and was louder than its original installment. According to a video, the siren can be heard beyond 3 miles,
how can the 2t22b sound louder than it originally did when it was new?
xT22s are notorious for intake clogs. If the intakes had buildups of something (insect nests, bird nests, etc) that could cause a reduction in volume.
