Where there any 8/12 port sirens in the whole state of Michigan?

Thu Jul 16, 2020 7:57 am

I am once again asking for your knowledge of sirens in Michigan. I was wondering if there were any 8/12 port sirens i.e ACA P50 (T-135), ACA Cyclone, ACA Super Banshee, Soundmaster sirens, anything like that. I just can't seem to find any sirens that are 8/12 port in the whole state of Michigan. So, I would like to know if there were any 8/12 port sirens installed in the whole state of Michigan. If they are active, if they are removed, if they still stand and if so I would like to know where they are.

Michigan never had any documented P-50s or 135s, and it's extremely unlikely they ever made their way over here. Seeing as how we have a very small amount of ACA products, it's a very slim chance. Same with the SuperBanshee and Cyclone.

We are, however, getting a refurbished P-10 soon, and we have some SD-10s, Dual Tone Sentries, Allertors, and a few other assorted Dual Tone sirens.

I made a Monroe County map a few months back that's a bit newer and updated. The link is: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... sp=sharing

Yeah, I heard about that new p-10 being installed. When I went to the Thunderbolt and 508 in Dearfield, the marshal was kind enough to show me where the p-10 was going to be installed. It is dual tone and is supposed to be instaled sometime after July 2020 going into August 2020. The exact date for installation is not known.

Aren't P-10s 9/12 or 8 port?

Yes. None of them came in 8/12 ports.
Still pop on here occasionally, but no longer post.
