I was not paying atention.I do know that there system is mostly 612s which makes this quite interesting siren a good find.I also know that there is also a few strange black ACAs in the area.

They also have at least 2 2001's. I think one is an addition. However, there is a 2001-B that went up couple years ago at the fire station on weber and boughton. It replaced a 612.

Actually, that is an Alertronic 6000 rotating siren with 4 horns, since the 4000 was omni-directional.

Actually Thunderbolt 612 that is incorrect... the siren pictured is a rotating Alertronic 4000... there is a difference between the rotating and non-rotating models but no name difference. There is an omni-directional Alertronic 6000 as well so the confusion continues. The number is made up of the number of speaker drivers plus 3 zeros (4 drivers= 4000). I have a great love in my heart for the rotating Alertronic series sirens... I have a video of one doing a hi-lo and I watch it every now and than and find that I enjoy it just as much the 400th time as I did the first time. I would gladly post it, but I don't know how to get it from my camcorder to the computer (I have no video capture card). Thank you for posting this photo Hebrith... it is always nice to see these sirens!!
