Two of their firehouses have new outdoor warning sirens used for fire calls. Co. 3 (Prospect Street in Great Neck) had a low pitch Model 7 since the '40's. It finally gave out and has been replaced by a Federal Modulator.
Co.5, off Lakeville Road near Union Turnpike had diaphragm horns since the 60's (had a Model 7 prior to that) and has also been replaced by a Modulator. The video is of Company 3.
