If you go and search any of the other videos of Modulators from around there, you will find they all sound like that. That is a custom tone they chose.

Friend of mine in the Netherlands says this is their monthly test tone. He freaked out when I shown him the sirens here in the States.

Weird! I've never heard a Mod sound like that! If you listen to the end of the video, you can hear other Mods doing that too. I thought it was broken, until I heard the other sirens doing the exact same thing.

Those are actually Siemens controls that are producing those tones.
