I agree! I think they have the best sounding wind-up (and wind-down) of all sirens. And at the risk of being lynched by the siren community for saying this, I think they surpass even Thunderbolts in that regard.

Most definitely for any single tone Thunderbolt, in my opinion; but they've got a bit of competition come the dual tone 1000T and 1003. All depends on the ambience from the environment, which would typically make or break a "spooky windup".
Though I have yet to hear any of them in person. :(
