I don't know if the snow on the ground assisted with the sound quality or what, but that recording is fantastic!!

Wow! It's even in stereo! Great mix of sirens! I hear a bunch of TBolts, at least two 2001's, a 2T22, maybe a lower pitched T-128, and an Alertor in the distance. That recording is so good, that it could be on a professional sound effects CD. Who ever this Guitarguy1985 is on YouTube, he did an excelent job!

What a wind-down!

Yeah! It's one of the best I've ever heard. It reminds me of the wind-downs I used to hear at my grandmother's house when I was a kid, before they replaced many of the old TBolts with refurbished ones, and messed with all the blower timers. I've been listening to the recording through stereo headphones, and it's great. If you listen to it that way, it sounds like your right out there with the guy who recorded it. You can hear different sirens from different directions. He picked an excelent place to record all those sirens.
