Which siren to record?

Fri Apr 18, 2008 8:12 am

South Dakota will be doing its statewide torando drill next week. I have the opporotunity to record one of the following sirens in Spearfish. Question is which one to record as I have only one chance a year.
What do you think?

Siren #1
Unknown make/model

Sirem #2

Siren #3
Model 5

There are two other sirens in town (Model 5 and 2001) but I already have videos of them.

Siren #1.

Model 5 has been recorded many times.

#1 may be dual toned.

Definitely #1!! Thats an original Federal Fire Siren (no, its not called the Lion) and probably dates to the 30's.

Assuming that Siren #1 is still active, record it!
