Which tone to record?

Fri Sep 01, 2006 4:48 pm

I will be filming the tests again this Wed. What are you guys interested in the most?

Both are the Whelen Vortex-r siens. The most common tone is alert but I think I found one in Hi-Low!

What'ya think?
Q2B or not 2B that is the question.

Hi-lo, because all we use here is the alert tone for tornado warnings and tests.

Nothing! I got nothing! The Saginaw siren system didn't sound today like it should have! I heard Ft Worth's Vortex-r's sounding but nothing out of what i thought was the hi-low siren. I am sick of waiting to film sirens and they just sit there. Laughing at me i'd bet! They have some sort of proximity sensor that senses people like us. I'd swear on it!

I feel for ya man! I had that happen with our 2001, because of comm. issues.
