Sprinfield IL, New Siren System,

Mon Sep 25, 2006 5:22 am

Just thought everyone would like to know that Springfield IL. just installed their first of 57 T-128's. Here is a link to the story,

It's good that they're getting a good system to protect their citizens.
"The Federal Thunderbolt siren is a rotating-beam siren that disperses high-intensity warning signals over a large area." :TBolt:

Thank God the city went with ASC T-128s! No ATI's!!!! :D

I'll miss not seeing the old T-Bolts and SD-10's up there when I visit periodically, but thankfully they installed reliable sirens!

BTW, does anyone know what type of siren was destroyed by the tornado?
