Got the final topcoat for the engine air shrouds after three rounds of filler primer and sanding. Also started to finalize the assembly of the air shrouding. Kinda fun figuring out which cover overlaps what. A big puzzle, FUN

Man, I can't believe someone is actually restoring one of these! This is by far, one of the best restoration jobs I've seen for a siren, and I've been in the community a LONG time. Great job my guy, can't wait to see it up and running! She looks REAL GOOD!

Got the air shrouding on. Flywheel cover was a bit soft yet, so had to be careful when installing. Also got the clutch bellhousing and stator plate mounted. It's really starting to look like something now!

It’s really coming together I can’t wait for you to put on the stator and rotor!!

Installing the chopper is going to be one of the last things I'll do. I want to be able to start and run the unit at governed speed for tuning and runability checks. Don't want the annoyance of sounding off the siren every time I do this. Remember, any time you rev it off idle the centrifugal clutch will engauge and spin the chopper.

Will be cool to at least get the stator on soon!

I’m wondering what your YouTube channel name is
Can you PM me a link?

You need to get a video of the engine running.

Well, I'm nearly 32 and I've been puttering with small engines, cars, motorcycles, etc since I could turn a socket wrench. I also worked at a body shop during High school. Im also a heavy equipment mechanic by trade. This isn't really a hard project, just one that requires time.
