UPDATE: HemiJoe is till looking for a projector horn assembly . He is willing to drive anywhere in the US or Canada to purchase and pick up.

Because of work, he has not made much progress on it. He does have the rotator base painted and reassembled. The engine block is also mounted. The engine will be gray, the rotator base black, and the bodywork lincoln red.
I know this has been said before but West Shore Services in Allendale, MI has an original allertor with the short intake that I'm sure they'd be willing to sell. When I went the whole horn assembly was torn off though but, I'm pretty sure the projector was still in good condition.

Thanks for the reminder of WSS. I left a voice mail with Mike. Hope to hear back from him soon.

You would be correct on the large size of the projector. Fully assembled it has no problem filling up an 8ft full size truck bed been trying to find an on the ground picture with a person included
Thanks for that picture. That's a big siren! I think you'd have your best luck working with a sheetmetal/ductwork shop. If they can make ductwork that big, which they do (and bigger!), they may be able to help you out.

Thanks Nahldee. I'll keep that in mind. I can't quite recall on the auto choke. It's been awhile since I've seen it up close. It's blown into pieces on a pallet right now. Will find out this Saturday when we take it out of long term storage. Time has flown

Also happy to have one of the country's premier Wisconsin dealers right in my backyard. Engines Service in Milwaukee is the best. Phil and Rick have the best selection and knowledge of NOS parts.
Oh wow, you weren't kidding! Checked their page, looks like they got an entire warehouse packed full of NOS Wisconsin parts! We don't have anything like that here in Nebraska, but I can only imagine it's a bit different there considering they're located in the same city as the manufacturer

That VF4 looks almost tiny on that platform! I can only imagine the whole siren fully assembled weighs around 1,000 lbs. Also it looks like it has the automatic choke; likely has the Startix system too (pull a switch and it starts automatically. Truly some amazing technology they had back then)

Correct on your guess. The spec sheet points to a 900lb assembled weight.

Yes, does have the thermochoke unit on it. We'll see how it works. I do have full intentions with at least getting a simple on/off throttle solenoid with full radio control to start with. Wouldn't mind doing a full arduino powered radio control with timer.

A full agastat system could be placed on the unit back I the day
