That's hilarious! Lighten up, people. It's just poking at some fun!!!
If your siren is a-failin'
Chances are that it's a Whelen
And if it's just about to die
Then it must be an ATI

Came across this on Wikipedia's article on Civil Defense Sirens. I forgot who originally took this video but I remember it from Wisconsin Sirens.

http://www.vidilife.com/video_play_1067 ... Person.htm

Someone thought it would be funny to add himself yelling Oh Cr@p, Run! when siren activates follwed by him screaming while the siren sounded. Also listen to what he says during the windown.

I find nothing funny about tornadoes. Yes, this video is amusing but I find nothing at all about tornadoes. It's terrifying laying in the bed in the middle of the night listening to one pass over your house. That, my friends, has happened to me before and though it didn't do any damage, it's just the simple fact of knowing that it's the middle of the night and that a tornado, a roaring, hissing, twirling elephant trunk that you can't see but know that is there, passes over the top of your house. The tornado warning was out, my city was in direct path of the approaching tornado, all while I was asleep. My parents came in the room and woke me and as I rose out of my bed, I heard that unmistakeable roar. It sounded like a jet plane flying over at a low altitude but much deeper and much louder. It took nearly a full minute of roaring before it was gone. As I said, no damage was done, but the damage was done to me mentally and emotionally. I'm 19 years old and I'm still jumpy when I go to bed and I hear a thunderstorm approaching. It's a horrifying experience when you're 13 years old. That's a night I will never forget. I don't want this to get off topic at all. But, making fun of a tornado, that's going a little far.

Matt,
I had a similar situation at 12.

It was scary and fascinating.
Also frustrating because nothing could be seen.

So we took shelter in the basement.
(Luckily we had one!)

This is unlikely to happen to you again.
If so, you will likely have warning, or you will know to stay up and monitor the situation.
Understand it and get over it.
