Tornado video with sirens

Wed Nov 01, 2006 5:24 am

Thought this was interesting video, even though the person recording could take a pill! Not sure what kind of sirens are blarring in the background because of all the drama coming out of the persons mouth!

And this video I'm sure most have you have seen but it is just such a good video of why we are all on here and love sirens because they help protect people from being hurt in situations like this. Unfortunately there are no sirens going off in this video.

I didn't hear a Thunderbolt, but I could hear a 2001, a 2T22, and someone who is definitely bottom of the class in the drama department.

Sounded a bit like "Lorraine" from MadTV

But whatever, those are some really musical harmonics with the 2t22 and the 2001s. It'd be nice to have a recording of just that ...

T-Bolts as many of you know can have high pitches.

I'm inclined to give Archon the benefit of the doubt; but they don't seem to me to have the characteristic throatiness of 'Bolts (unless that only reveals itself in 1000T's).

OTOH, the harmonics and the rotating model at close range do seem to indicate a 2001/2T22/maybe Federal 2-thru-7 combination.

2?

Good video. A 2T22 does seem to be in the video.

If only that person would talk a bit more quietly.
