With it's sudden ending, is it an electronic siren,
or a supercharged chopper siren whose air supply suddenly ceases?

Thanks,

I think that it is an electronic siren, because it seems to fade out rather smoothly, in the other videos.

It is indeed electronic, this was brought up on the old board.

Korean Electronic Siren

that's not exactly what I meant. I was wondering if any of you guys knew who made that siren, it sounds to me like one of those Horman electric sirens.

What is an "air power" siren?

Electronic with speakers?
Supercharged chopper?

Thank you,

An air-powered siren is that does not suck air into the chopper, but rather blow it into the chopper; the chopper has no vanes.

Most people say that the siren heard is from Horman.

Thanks Peter.

So, the Hurricane and Thunderbolt are "air powered"?
- blower pumps air through a pipe to the chopper which is spun by a motor.

The sound of a German siren I heard on ***(I've been asked not to use this word before so there is now an automatic replacement censor)***, an HOR siren?, seems to evidence that because it's volume changed as though air to it's chopper was turned off and on.

BTW, when I heard an SD-10 for the first time last Wednesday, I could hear what sounded like air being sucked into the bottom tube.

A Thunderbolt is not necessarily air-powered, but just supercharged by air, as it can still be somewhat heard without hte blower sending air to the chopper.

By that German siren, I think that you're referring to the HLS series. They were made by Horman, as well as by other companies, companies such as Helin {I think}, etc.

On that SD-10, the air is being sucked into a fairly small tube at low air-pressure.
