So some sad news. The last T-bolt in Columbus is gone. Just like last year with the one by the bus garage. It was removed a few days ago. So Columbus has no Thunderbolt sirens left.

I have some great news regarding the 1003 located at the Silverstreet Volunteer Fire Department. For you who have not heard within the last month repairs were done on the unit and the malfunctioning solenoid has been repaired. The siren now runs a perfect Hi-Low signal, which it has not done for 3 y...

That's pretty weird, someone has to get a vid and of both sirens going off.

I'd say it might have been the same pole, but the 2001 pole seems taller. Cool find! Shame the Hurricanes aren't still here. With Darien gone, now there's only 1 working Hurricane in a real system... This is the sickest Thunderbolt I've heard in a long time. Reminds me of the old O'Fallon, IL Bolt. Good to hear that they will try to repair it.

That's cool! The red looks good on the thunderbolt, hopefully it will sound for years to come.

Well I did some more research on maps. I found another 2001 on a county road near the train tracks. I looked at the previous street view years and the 2001 has been around since 2008. So the xt22 you speak of is gone.
