Listen closely
No, you can't. You can hear a droning synthesizer in the music around the same frequency.

How was that achieved?
3D-printed (or otherwise custom-fabricated) 12 port chopper, is what I've heard. (Don't quote me on this, though.)
Makes sense. Just surprised a 3D printed rotor would be hefty or stable enough to actually work and not fly apart.

Re: Whelen WPS-2809 Siren Test, St.Louis, Missouri

What an update....an absolutely massive tornado went through the area this afternoon. Bet this lights a fire under them to finish the upgrade. Hope everyone is okay. They failed to set the sirens off I've been following the news and its quite the scandal (as it ought to be). Emergency management ha...

Re: Low mounted Sirens in US

I really think we need to revisit the definition of low since a lot of these sirens posted lately are at normal height (even if on the lower end of normal). Model 2s aren't loud and that's not an abnormal mounting height for one.

Re: Low mounted Sirens in US

Why what? That’s at a normal height for an XT22.

Re: Whelen WPS-2809 Siren Test, St.Louis, Missouri

Oh nice. I thought that the City only had 2806 and 07s. No idea there was an -09 out there. This system is supposedly on the brink of being replaced due to a high number of siren failures and soaring repair costs. The system was installed in 2001 (probably one of the last, if not the last Whelen sys...

Yes.
Yes it’s not a YouTube link?

What platform is this on that you can’t just copy and paste in a web address?

Re: Los Angeles air raid sirens

I do not know how to add a link to my post. Also, it could have been in the video where Conner Cruz, a 3D siren seller, was showing his LA siren pack. Edit: I think it was in siren walk #12 when the cutdown siren was talked about, but I could be wrong. Is it not just a YouTube link you can copy and...
