Re: Small White siren??

I was thinking it could be an FS SelecTone, but it does look like a model 2, image here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-S-qeaQUifhDG7iw0gSBVXFTsQo7i4V1/view?usp=sharing The image still doesn't work for some reason. Instead of inserting it using a URL, you can add an attachment of the image, which...

Re: About the Milwaukee post a week ago

I have been told by the SWS workers themselves that for the sake of siren enthusiasts, the Hurricane is staying up. It will not entirely be part of the new system. However, it may test with the county and/or be used as a backup siren for whatever siren is mounted nearby it. In addition, I was even ...

Re: Small White siren??

The image doesn't work for me, make sure that the image you attached is a .jpeg, and not anything else! I did check out the area with images and street view, but the street view doesn't show any flagpole and the photos with it are too zoomed out. My best guess is a newer Model 2. Since they're smal...

Re: About the Milwaukee post a week ago

Sorry this is off-topic but I would like to know one thing: Will the hurricane be coming down? I've heard some people say it won't but I want a solid answer. I have been told by the SWS workers themselves that for the sake of siren enthusiasts, the Hurricane is staying up. It will not entirely be p...

Re: Milwaukee Siren Replacement Update

How about we just get a mod to lock this topic? It's getting WAY too out of topic to what the original post was about, and it's also starting to get a little brutal with the replies!

Re: Milwaukee Siren Replacement Update

Didn't this already happen years ago, or am I just mistaken? I thought they already replaced most of the sirens in the outskirts of Milwaukee with T-128s and T-135s, also the T-121s and 112s as well!

Re: NAFCO Sterling K5?

It's definitely not a Sterling product. It appears to be a H.O.R. Siro-Drone Model 925, but I may be wrong. NY had a lot of H.O.R. sirens back in the day, so it's possible. It's hard to tell, but It doesn't seem to have any finger guards on it unless it they're vertical instead of horizontal. It wo...

Re: Montrose, NY Huge mystery siren

I checked the dates on google maps and the bigger siren wasn't on the building in 2019, but in 2023 the Bigger Siren Was on the building. Im starting to think they are buying the sirens from a type of dealer that sells Modified Darley Model 2's Because of Darley model 2's having Thin Port holes. Im...

Montrose, NY Huge mystery siren

I was watching videos on YouTube when I came across a short that caught my attention. He was touring the Model 2 on display on the ground, when he looked up at the roof of the Fire department. There was a massive looking what I want to say is a Darley Weatherproof Champion, but it's way too tall to ...
