The assemblies are not the same. They may might be able to be custom fabricated to fit but you'll need a machinist for help on that.

What generation 2001 siren do you have?

The sirens in this system are 1200 and 1600 watts. Each Ultra Voice controller house 3 to 4 400 watt amplifiers.

Without proper preventive maintanence batteries can go bad. Also, if the customer does not use the specified deep cycle marine batteries many problems can come up. A battery that has not been tested or maintaned and has been boiled dry by a charger over an extended period of time has no capacitance....

The nuke plants are very sensitive when it comes to activating their siren systems. My guess is they don't use them for weather warning at all.

The model 2 has an AC motor starter. The weather radio you speak of I'm imagining has a relay contact closure itself. The relay on the weather radio should be able to handle at least 5 amps. Depends on what kind of controller cabinet it comes with. The MC and MCP controllers on now obsolete. The UV is the current generation siren controller used to activate the mods and DSAs
