Official GCS/GDC Siren Map

So as many of you know, I own a GDC and have been finding many locations to these. I have actually also discovered GCS/GDC was headquartered in Detroit and just had a branch in Minneapolis. I have also been working on a website including most all the of these sirens in existence:

If anybody knows of locations I’m missing, please let me know! Also, many of these sirens are identical, but some have “General Detroit Corporation” tags, while the newer ones (such as Salt Lake City’s system, are “General City Service Company”.

There’s one in Frankfort, Michigan behind the fire department on the DPW Building.

Got some things you can change or add:
1. The GCS Model 5 in Woodland, Wisconsin was removed. A few months ago, I drove past the location where it stood and it was gone, even the tower was removed as well.

2. This location includes a removed GCS Model 3 that stood with a Model 5 at some point before both got replaced with a FS 2001-130. 44.212811, -89.492906 (PLAINFIELD MUNICIPAL BUILDING, Plainfield, WI)

3. Inactive GCS Model 3 (which was replaced by a nearby Sentry 10V). 44.42554799133327, -91.20881080026484 (13197 East Main Street, Pigeon Falls, Wisconsin)

4. GCS Model 3 (looks to be active) 43.42365745193085, -90.11285131448088 (Town of Washington/Hill Point Fire Department, Hill Point, Wisconsin)

5. GCS Model 2 (active according to IL siren map) 40.99582635859485, -88.20641396236763 (No ATM on Main By Fire House, Cabery, Illinois)

6. GCS Model "5" (marked as a Model 5 that's active on IL siren map, but looks like a Model 2 or 3) 40.935009, -90.952250 (Oquawka Fire Department, Oquawka, Illinois)

7. GCS Model 5 (decorative/display piece) 38.975220, -89.801154 (baseball park by DeCamp Station, Staunton, Illinois)

8. GCS Model 3/5, replaced with a Whelen WPS-2803 45.138601, -94.789369 (Minnesota Avenue, Atwater, Minnesota)

Those are all the updates I'll have for you as of right now. Later on, I'm more than welcome to look for more GCS Model sirens to add on your map.

Joppatowne MD siren is not a GCS Model 5, it is actually a darley model 5 with a custom housing

Bedford Road Volunteer Fire department in Dickens, MD has a GCS Model 5

Frostburg Fire Dept. Station 2 in Frostburg, MD of National Pike and Victoria Lane has a GCS Model 5

Good-Will Fire Co Engine House in Lonaconing, MD of Douglas Ave has an Inactive GCS Model 5 next to the Eclipse 8
