Looks really nice! It's active right?
That could be the case. I do believe however Knoxville may have gotten some sirens later. There is a Tbolt at a HS in W. Knoxville that looks considerably newer than the other 3. I believe it also has the vents in the blower cover's rear, thus making it an A2. At least that's what it looks like to my eyes. I believe all of these were installed in 1952, so they must've all had the stripes, At least the rusty substation one, and the one next to the tall silo.
Plus, the tall silo one has white outlines of where stripes would've been.
Yeah, it's not good to assume unless you look into the very very fine details. A lot of the Tbolts were bumblebolts, but some weren't too.Brendan W wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2017 12:16 amThat could be the case. I do believe however Knoxville may have gotten some sirens later. But surely if it's a jailbar then the blower would most definitely be a 6M. The blower cover must have been replaced at some point if it does have an A2 cover.Brendan W wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2017 12:16 amThat could be the case. Well given that it's not, then it is A2, if not SC.Mr Someone wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2017 7:22 amBut surely if it's a jailbar then the blower would most definitely be a 6M. Well, Knoxville did have a system until 2008 according to google.coastalsyrolover wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 10:20 pmBoy it's interesting that they had a first generation bumblebolt, second generation Jailbar and a 4M A2 blower all in the same general area...
