Great Video! I hate too see them replace that siren, I Graduated from FHHS across the street from that siren. I lived in october ridge about 3 miles from there. and you could still hear this siren it was faint but it can still be heard. I remember when they replaced that mod 5 on the Franklin Twp Fire dept. with the 3016 people complained right from the start..

BTW.. I'm Just wondering, Is that siren still on the fire dept? I havent been home for a while too see for myself

If you are talking about the one at Frank Road then yes its still there.
German major in College. Work part time as a sub organist and I help work on/build/restore Pipe Organs.

The belt could have broken...
Believe me the belt on my T-bolt is in bad shape so I wouldn't be surprised if the belt stretched like they do on oilfield equipment.
So, does anybody know how old this one is?
