Detroit- Sirens are Coming off of Buildings *Update 10/22/12

Just an update, some new siren locations have been added within the past couple of months. One of which is a new 2001-130 located on Outer Drive, right next to Renaissance High School.

Renaissance is my Alma Mater (C/O 2012) and I spend a lot of time in the city- really I basically lived there half the time. It's not as bad as you think, trust me. I'm really glad that the city has finally paid attention to the system, and is doing what is needed to improve it.

Davison and Mt Elliot is across the street and south a bit.
a few are on grand river.
The one along I-75 south of old tiger stadium is in the same spot.
Engine 47 has one out front near the street.
there are a few along 7 mile between telegraph and southfield freeway.
The tbolt on berg south of 8 mile has a 2001 on berg but close to 7 mile.

Those are all the ones I drove by.
WSS stated some would be close to the original locations.
Some would be moved to a better coverage place.
like Engine 57 got moved north a few blocks.

ha! I slay me. I was offered a job once at a place which was at Mt. Elliot & the Davison, I said "I got 99 problems but insanity ain't one."
