Islands of Toyko Bosai Musen Map

Sat Sep 21, 2024 8:44 am

I was bored this week and decided, why not make a Bosai Musen map for the outlying Islands of Toyko? So I did & here is the result: a map packed with technical information, frequency ranges & modulation types. This mapping style is still a trial run for me, as Hokkaido didn't turn out great with its previous version.

For anyone who is not familiar with the abbreviations I use on my Japan maps, here is a quick overview:

Antenna Types:
OMNI - Omnidirectional
COL - Collinear Omnidirectional
OCC - Omnidirectional Cylinder Cellular
LP - Log Periodic
FP - Flat Panel
GP - Ground Plane
DP - Dipole
FD - Folded Dipole
YXE - Yagi X-Element
CYXE - Covered Yagi X-Element

Speaker Types:
HA - Horn Array
SS - Slim Speaker
OS - Omnidirectional Speaker
SH - Straight Horn
RH - Reflex Horn

Any feedback or suggestions are much appreciated! As it helps me develop better technical information descriptions & mapping styles.

Without further ado, here is the map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit? ... sp=sharing
If it has sound skipping, it's always an NEC...
