Yes, coded Hurricanes did exist. The one sent to the Klaxon dealer in South Africa was a coded unit. Unfortunately no coded hurricanes exist anymore, unless one is rotting in storage somewhere.

Yes, there were coded hurricanes produced. One was sent to a klaxon dealer in South Africa (MK1), another was installed in Nekoosa WI, and there was one In rolling meadows IL (both MK2 Models). Unfortunately all of them are gone and none are known to exist.
