Marion IL EOWS-408s

Hi, i am Blake. i love the EOWS-408 and i even own most, but not all of the Herrin IL EOWS-408 pictures. but not all. i am gathering imformation on the EOWS-408s in Marion IL which is right South East of Herrin and about 3-6 minutes away from Herrin. i live in another town 30 minutes away from Herrin. the EOWS-408 is the 4th or 5th siren i ever discovered at age 5 to 7, someone please help me gather info and pictures about them.

Man I haven't dove into this in years. Anyway, from what I gathered in newspaper articles way back in 2019, Marion had about six 408s in their system. I did manage to find the rough locations of them all, but any evidence of their existence is basically gone. One of my good friends managed to find this newspaper article from 1984, talking about the first activation of them. Marion much like a lot of other places that had SiraTones faced countless radio related failures.

I've been to all 408s in Herrin, and now I started a whole topic on the 812 in Omro, WI and now that's blowing up
